Expiry dates.
a quote from twitter thats full of meaning (one of the few!) - Doesn't everything have an expiry date? Wouldn't it hurt less if we knew those dates when someone died, love ended or something was taken?
so very true.
the picture above is of the appetiser when i got sent home in style, business class no less! tasty. but i didnt really enjoy it because SEP was over. a friend told me was bawling her eyes out when she was leaving Eugene (a place) recently, and i knew exactly how that felt. the food was probably awesome, but leaving is never easy. and leaving trumps food. sometimes people cry out of being hurt, but other times, they cry out of a mixture of emotions.
not the best picture, but i had to make do with a distracted heart, and very dim lighting.
and yes, to answer the rhetorical question: expiry dates would help the hurt. but in God's good plan for all who love Him, the hurt helps us. and God helps the hurt way more than any expiry date can. for sure.
