peace. that comes again once i'm sure of act of obedience required.
at this turning point, once again a small step in the right direction.
but God forbid that i should choose drop it all and flee.
the wayward route beckons.
but at the crossroads, an alternative - the rocky path overrun with weeds, running through the thickets and tall undergrowth, flanked by monsters of fearful names and threats, watched by their menacing eyes as they eagerly await a doubter. as painful and as frightening as it seems, there lies a glorious light in the distance. something that outshines the splendor of the other place. and at the start of the path, a small, weathered signboard that says, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
its a choice, whether or not to spend time collecting enough rocks to build this step as high as my knee, ignoring the logic that reminded me coming back this same way would be impossible, inching along ledges with widths no thicker that half the length of my foot, just so that i could get up there.
