being a light unto His name.

when i took this photo, what struck me was this:

even though the Doulos is going out of service soon and her ministry will be halted,

but God's name will continue to be glorified in all circumstances.

she is a special old lady, but what truly makes the Doulos special,

are the people who serves on her and the God she serves. (:

the history, the ministry and everything else pales in comparison.

and i need to remember that God is sovereign,

He alone decides where He wants us to be.

but God is also wise, and loving.

and thus, there is a reason for everything that happens.

changes, be it good or bad. people, who encourage, tear down or disappoint.

blessed be His name.

regardless of the season, its always time to be a blessing and a testimony to His goodness.
