and this is still God's answer for me, and to me:
“If you have raced with men on foot
and they have worn you out,
how can you compete with horses?
If you stumble in safe country,
how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?
because when I question the why the rights I have are trampled over by the very people I expect to respect my worth and value, then I question His plan for me and I belittle God's gift of salvation to me. someone more mature would then recognise that these rights are no longer his own, but being the way I am right now, there is something like a tug-o-war going on somewhere in there.
and yet, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, the life I live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and died for me." the words stir a sort of agreement from within and yet, the implications of this are terrifying - in a truly natural, worldly sense. seriously, what a conflicted being.
pride of mine, hurry up and die,
so I can love without caution.
