In preparation of the celebrations to come

May and June have gone by in a flash.
But what a whirlwind that has been. I have seen God's hand taking control and guiding the circumstances of my life, shaping my responses and gently nudging me down the path that has been prepared for me.

honestly, there hasn't been a steady consumption of God's word since that week when things started falling into place. i have simply been trying to keep up with the developments, and keep my head on my shoulders.

i am excited for this. i am scared as well, and at times, i am jealous. but mostly, like the lyrics by Sanctus Real, i am glad to know i am alive.

truly alive. for now, planted in a shady nursery. but with the hope and knowledge that one day, i will be that tree that gives shade to others, having branches heavy with fruit.
