its an old picture, not taken by me. but its one that i treasure.. for different reasons. AND its a picture that expresses alllllll my joy -- i've gotten my beloved FG20 fixed, and my 28mm cleaned!!!!!
and, and and!! wonder of wonders! my digital camera can focus with this awesome little baby!!
today i parted with a pretty significant amount of cash a bit too happily. =/
but i walked out of the camera hospital (yes, hospital.) grinning very widely.
biggest, most satisfied, truest smile i've had in a loong time.
there was a skip in my step, and lightness in my heart.
i was beyond grateful to the camera doctor. (:
although its a tad bit ridiculous how something so material can bring me such joy....
its a season in life. a principle of replacement. a lesson to be learnt, hard as it is.
and indeed, today was a better day.
i'm learning.
