its been hectic, this past week. a good busy, a happy rush. even though i'm not okay with certain things; every now and then i wonder when this will pass. but there is a hope i'm holding on to. one which keeps me going.

its a trust;
in a person
to whom it is an insult to distrust.

the seasons past were
the part of the run
where your legs and health
felt like treasured gifts.
over time, the focus turned,
to the road, the breathing and the speed.
but now, its when the breathing is hard,
when every step causes you to rue the weakness of your legs,
leading you to mourn your inability,
slowing your stride, dampening your pace.

but unlike a run where i can only recover or dig in,
i have a Helper who helps.
and this hope i'm holding on to,
is the one where i know,
there are better days ahead.

one day, i'll be back up on the mountaintop.

this was taken almost 3/4 up a hugeass granite formation in the backyard of my hosts' in Nelspruit.
it was breathtaking. both the scenery & the climb. but, like everything else tough, the results were worth it. (:
this climb today during this season will be worth it.
